Volunteer: Offsite Adventures!

Give a shelter dog a break from kennel life and an exciting day out on the town! We need volunteers to take approved offsite dogs for a fun-filled adventure on local trails or along the riverfront. These outings provide much-needed enrichment, exercise, and socialization while helping us learn more about each dog’s personality outside the shelter.

What You'll Do:
✔Pick up an approved offsite dog from WVHS
✔Enjoy a walk, hike, or relaxing time by the river
✔Capture photos and notes to share about their experience
✔Return them to the shelter happy and tired (by 5:30p)!

Where: Local trails, parks, or the riverfront
When: Flexible—coordinate with the shelter team

If you love exploring the outdoors and want to give a shelter dog a special day, this is the perfect way to make a difference!
