Who We Are
The Shelter Support Team is the backbone of daily operations at the shelter. We are a dedicated group of volunteers who ensure the environment remains clean, organized, welcoming, and ready to serve both animals and people.
Our work directly supports animal health, staff efficiency, and the overall guest experience. From managing laundry and dishes to maintaining tidy, functional spaces in the front lobby and related areas, we help create a safe and comfortable environment for both animals and people.
We are also involved with assisting front office greetings, supporting intake staff during animal admissions, and stepping in where extra hands are needed. Our flexibility and willingness to help keeps the shelter running smoothly.
This role may work behind the scenes at times, but its impact is seen everywhere. Stocked supplies, organized spaces, and a welcoming front desk all contribute to better animal welfare and stronger community trust.
We are dependable, adaptable, and mission-driven.
We support the people who care for animals so they can focus on lifesaving work.
