Who We Are
Hi,
Thank you for volunteering with the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society, our volunteers give us their time and support. In return, we want to lead the way in skill-building volunteer opportunities. Our goal is to provide our volunteers with the skills to do more than dog walking, clean litter boxes or kennels. We want to give our volunteers the opportunity to work side by side with our staff/volunteers and learn skills that they can take with them beyond WVHS.
In January of 2018 WVHS adopted a dog behavior program. It is with the help of volunteers we are able to run this program and there are a few requirements, so please keep that in mind.
What We Do
Depending on the time you volunteer, your role may look different, tasks can vary from:
- Laundry and dishes
- Maintenance and more!
