Playgroup Volunteers

Playgroups are structured, supervised sessions where dogs spend time together in a safe space.

They help dogs release energy, practice social skills, and reduce stress while in the shelter. As a volunteer, your role may include helping move dogs safely to and from playgroup, observing their behavior, and supporting staff with set-up or clean-up. Playgroups are a key tool in keeping dogs happy, healthy, and more adoptable.
