Whether it’s a cozy blanket, a clean habitat, or a quiet moment of affection, we provide comfort, consistency, and compassion. From playful kittens to shy rabbits and curious guinea pigs, we meet each animal’s unique needs with patience and purpose.

We’re here to support their well-being, ease their stress, and help them feel safe, seen, and loved—because every life, no matter how small, deserves a champion.

Our team supports the daily care and comfort of cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small critters. Depending on when you volunteer, your role may vary:

• Morning volunteers help with wet food, fresh bedding, clean water, and litter box maintenance to ensure every animal starts the day feeling safe and cared for.

• Mid-day and afternoon volunteers focus on enrichment, social time, spot-cleaning litter boxes, and refreshing bedding and water as needed.

We believe that knowledgeable, compassionate volunteers make all the difference. We're especially looking for volunteers with experience handling bunnies to help socialize and care for the animals in our Critter Room, located in the lobby across from the shelter’s front desk.
