Client Care - Adoptions

Description

At our pet adoption center, we take the role of cat matchmaker very seriously. Our goal is to help adopters find the purrfect new family member, and we do everything in our power to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

One important tool we use to make this happen is the kennel card.

  • Each cat in our center has a kennel card that provides important information about their personality, likes, and dislikes. This information can help adopters determine if a particular cat might be a good fit for their family. We encourage all visitors to take the time to read the kennel cards and get to know the cats before making a decision.
  • When an adopter finds a cat they are interested in, we help facilitate a meeting either the cat room . We also take great care to maintain a clean and healthy environment for our furry friends. We mop the room (or floors if cats have been let down on the floors) in between cats and remind visitors to either wear gloves or wash their hands and change out in between visits to prevent the spread of germs.
  • If an adopter decides to take the next step and bring a cat home, we direct them to an animal care associate at the front desk who can assist with the adoption process. We believe that every pet deserves a loving home, and we are proud to play a role in making that happen.
